With the recent outbreak of coronavirus, medically known as COVID-19, countries around the world, including Italy, Spain and the United States of America are experiencing a significantly higher death rate when compared to the country of the virus’ origin, China.

This could be many things, including, but not limited to:

• Stricter tactics enforced on residents including total lockdowns.
• Falsification of figures
• Cover-up of reports from Chinese State Medical Authorities.

This petition calls not just on the British Government to investigate the falsification and evaluate the future relationship between the UK and China, but also the United Nations to investigate the international implications that the falsification of these figures could have. As many governments, including the UK’s, have raised scepticism already about the legitimacy of Chinese figures, the general consensus is that the Chinese figures seem very low when put into comparison, especially when compared to the aforementioned figures in Italy and Spain.

This is the time because I don’t believe that China can be trusted with the building of 2 new British nuclear reactors, or any of the other Chinese ‘economic corridor’ projects, especially when falsifying figures such as these.
