We students are angry! We have paid over 9k for FaceTime calls! This is not what we signed up for- and we are being charged full price! We want compensation!!

Not only have we been blamed and manipulated by the government and the covid crisis we are being completely ripped off! We want 50% of tuition fees removed from this year to make up for the horrible way we have been treated and we want reductions on rent fees for people who have not lived in their accommodation due to the pandemic (no one should have to pay for a room they aren't using). 33% rent reduced for everyone not just manchest. We are not at uni to profit you but to better ourselves! There has been no financial, mental or physical show of support for uni students- some of our living conditions are bad and we have missed out on so much due the the inificeny of dealing with the pandemic? And we are expected to take it all with a smile on our face and say thank you! 

STOP CHARGING US FOR FACETIME CALLS- THEY AREN'T LESSONS!

Everyone is affected by this- if you are not a student you probably have family who is, or maybe you are a former student. We aren't to blame non of us are and yet so many other communities have received help and support such as furlough but were is it for us students? There are so many headlines about the raise in unemployed with uni students taking the hit the hardest. How are we meant to pay our loans back when we can't even get a job and are struggling to reach our full potential in our degrees which would lead to a job when we are recieving no help.

So please sign, we eat out to help out and got blamed. We came to uni to live with strangers and got blamed. We have moved forwards blindly not knowing what plans are for our university or if we should come at all and still been blamed. It is not our fault. We just want to get our money's worth- and we aren't.
