Cecilia Wolfe started this petition to Chris Loder MP (Westminster Government, NHS) and

With the steady rise of people suffering from chronic pain and chronic pain conditions being slowly recognised alongside long covid.

The aim of this petition is:

- To increase research into chronic pain conditions (I.e. fibromyalgia, endometriosis, ME/CFS etc)

- Increase research into why women suffer chronic pain conditions more often than men

- Increase awareness

- Encourage training so doctors can both identify the conditions sooner and offer support instead of dismissal.

- Increased access to pain clinics

Historically those suffering chronic pain conditions are more often women and as such have sadly received less research as well as being initially dismissed. The links offer more information.
