Acceptance of Vaccination from India (Covidshield/Astrazeneca) for reciprocal free travel

Acceptance of Vaccination from India (Covidshield/Astrazeneca) for reciprocal free travel
Indian government has recently declared that fully vaccinated travellers from UK to India require to quarantine for 10 days as UK government has not accepted the Covidshield(Astrazeneca)vaccine taken in Indian. The UK government should accept vaccine certificate from India so that the Indian government can reciprocate for UK citizens. There are 1.4 million people of Indian Ethinicity living in the UK and quarantine free travel between the 2 countries will help the Indian community living in the UK. However , a negative PCR test report before boarding aircraft to UK can be put in place to ensure the virus is contained . On arrival the visitors can take a Day 2 PCR test to ensure the virus is not brought in to the country.. This will also increase the flights between the 2 countires and help the aviation industry, hotel industry and other supporting industries. Amidst the peak of pandemic flight between the 2 countries were still operating and the UK government was taking a big risk but not stopping the flights then. Now that most of the citizens of UK have been vaccinated and India has also begun the vaccination program and is implementing it successfully it is totally unfair not to accept the vaccination taken in India. as it is the same as Astra Zeneca which was developed in the UK. These vaccines are also distributed to other parts of the world.
