The Prime Minister of India has made adverse announcement that Indian Universities were not able to stand in the global Ranking and offered special grant for its claim.
The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has given adverse statement that Central Universities academic output and research are poor and failed,where they are spending huge expenditure on salary alone
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is now challenging the Distance Education functions established by the state legislature Act with patient criteria, where the private/autonomous universities are in silent mode as they desires.
The Kothari commission has recommended that the Indian education need drastic reconstruction, almost the revolution.
The statistical reports have reflected that the Indian Higher Education growth is very poor and need to be moderate policy for increase the existing level.
The IGOU has permitted to conduct the MCA (computer science) course by Distance Education.
There are endless comments, criticism by the authorities concerned itself on Higher Education system.
Besides, the UGC has De-recognised the Karnataka state Open University (KSOU), Distance Education mode admission from 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 batch with UGC approved pattern of 10+2+3/4 on regular studies, where nearly 90000 students are lost their opportunity to get their Post Graduate(PG) Professional Degree and their status is cat on the wall for getting pending degree.
Apparently, the enrolled students have already wasted two years and huge amount for completing this course from the KSOU as on 2016.wherein the PG is essential qualification for certain jobs.
The officials have already involved this firing National issue and directed the UGC for its consideration to safeguard the KSOU existing students pending degree.
Since the UGC is silent, the affected students are depressed and chaos about their future.
Therefore, the UGC shall have positive approach and solve this massive student problem without further delay.
As per Indian constitution law, the Supreme court order for Death imprisonment can be reviewed by the President. As such, if any default by the KSOU, the UGC shall reviewed positively on interest of student life secure.
