Jerome Max Kelii Holloway is an MMA fighter who has been competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship since February 4, 2012. He will be competing in his 29th UFC fight on April 13, 2024, at UFC 300 for the BMF belt.

He has previously requested to wear floral shorts in his fights, a request that the UFC hasn't granted till now because there are presently standards shorts can conform to (to eliminate people just wearing any shorts whatsoever into the octagon, some of which are either too revealing, loose, or terrible all together), and for some reason, the UFC thinks floral shorts don't meet those standards.

Holloway has explained that it is symbolic, and it is a way for him to represent and pay homage to his people in the octagon. He is from Hawaii, he's very proud of his heritage, and he loves his people.

UFC, give this man his floral shorts. He wants it, his people want it, we the fans want it too. It's also UFC 300, and he's fighting for the BMF belt. There's no better time than now to grant his wish. You would be doing all of us a huge favor, and you'll show us that you actually listen to us and give us the type of entertainment we want.
