Many students who came to UCLA for scenic design started off as wanted to work on scenic or prop construction. However, scenic design classes are the only things that are being offered and there are no construction classes available. Costume classes even have their own construction classes because they know how important it is for their design work to have practical knowledge of crafting. The more practical knowledge the scenic designers have the better our designs will be!
