As students during the pandemic Carmen Morgan ,a student enforcement officer , has single handedly made every student feel valued, important and safe. This is extraordinary considering the short time period  she has been here in comparison to most other staff members ,many of whom have been here longer.

 Carmen has listened to us when other security officers and staff members have failed to do so.  During her employment here she has made the time and put in effort to get to know every student here personally and has gone above and beyond to listen to problems going on with the students in the Maltings accommodation.  Not to mention she has provided us with advice, solutions and has made us feel secure where other security officers have not and are clearly lacking. In a time where mental health issues are much more prevalent due to the COVID-19 circumstances, it is imperative to have at least one staff member who has the students true needs at heart. Carmen is the embodiment that. 

We would politely request her presence to be known and remain in the maltings, in any job form. She does more than the average employee requirements as a student enforcement officer. She has taken the time to get to know us in a professional yet caring way.  We strongly believe that it would be a substantial loss on your behalf as employees and on ours as students to lose such an exemplary staff member, who all of us students have the greatest respect for.
