Myself and a friend was travelling to Delhi Ghandi Airport on January 11th 2018 and driver seemed to nod of or something either way he ploughed down a human being and refused to stop. I made him stop and checked the victim I assure you he was very dead I checked and still he wanted to leave the scene and body! We had no choice both in shock went with him in the smashed up veiche and when at the airport I alerted the security who could see us two young backpackers in histerics and in shock and the damaged veichle with blood on the windowscreen, he still denied it! Security escorted us to the police station at terminal 3 where I returned after safely seeing my very upset close friend in pieces to the terminal. I returned only to see the driver in his phone to Uber I assume. Not arrested, no attempt to go get the body they never even asked I had to keep telling them! I wrote a statement and between the police and the driver having a nice chat I was ushered out of the station oh but here is the kicker he asked me for the taxi fare! The police never logged it, they deny it being reported. Uber India made one call to me then cut of communication same as here in the UK as I returned early after the trauma and just not feeling safe to the safety of what I thought would be a non corrupt Uber! They to now have silenced me and are ignoring what's happened. It's destroyed a great friendship due to the memories involved, I had a breakdown on the flight home and am going out of my mind trying to get some justice. Uber the way they have treated this both India and here should be ashamed. It's disgusting it's a human life and has certainly effected two others. I want justice so does my friend. We need support and help and to make a notice Uber are silencing me how many other people do they just cut of and leave to rot?
