I’ve been doing deliveries for multiple companies for over 5 years and it seems all platforms reduce wages yearly for couriers to increase profit margins and take away our livable wages to make already rich people richer, as a courier we must endure rain, snow, extreme heat, extreme cold not to mention thieves that take steal out methods of transportations which the companies do not cover and there is also the risks of being struck by a vehicle while making our routes, personally i worked throughout the entire Covid pandemic without hazard pay or any added benefits so i think it is time we tell these companies that we deserve livable wages and have these companies put a halt to the pay reduction whenever they feel like they need to increase their profit margins.
