Name the new Dippikill Lodge after Joseph Maffeo, fallen UAlbany 9/11 Hero

The University at Albany Student Association owns a pristine wilderness retreat in the Adirondack Mountains known as Dippikill, situated on more than 850 Acres of land.
Since 2012 a new lodge has been under construction, currently named for a former Student Association employee, Julie. We are petitioning the Student Association and the Board of Directors to rename this lodge after one of UAlbany's true heroes, Joseph Maffeo. Joseph was one of the 19 UAlbany alums killed in the September 11th attacks, and the only UAlbany fireman. Joseph served in Ladder Company 101 out of Brooklyn, NY. He left behind his wife and small child, as he ran into the burning towers while everyone else was running away.
The new lodge at Dippikill would be a fitting tribute and memorial to Joseph Maffeo who loved Dippikill as a UAlbany student, and often came up to visit after he graduated in 1994.
