To maintain enough Division 1 schools so that it's possible for more kids to play at this level.

This hockey team has put UAH on the national map. You are the pioneers of D-1 hockey in entire South. Very soon schools around you will join in but you are the "venerable ones".

Watching UAH over the years compete against the big schools has been awe-inspiring. Huntsville Alabama has a D-1 hockey team and the entire State of Illinois does not! Go Chargers!

Hockey needs D1 hockey in the south. We need to find a conference for UAH and get more D1 programs in the south. My son Chris Hughes is being recruited by UAH, currently plays in NAHL for Jr Kalamazoo Wings

We need college hockey to grow, not shrink. Hang in there UAH! From your friends at BGSU.

I used to live in Bemidji, MN and LOVED watching the rivalry of BSU and UAH. UAH has a great team and they deserve to continue in Division 1 hockey.

This is a terrific benefit to all who live in the south, and enjoy the great sport of Hockey. Hockey's popularity in the US is at or near an all time high, and it would be a shame to lose our only D1 program (which in all honesty should be in all or most state funded/backed universities) in the south.

I have a Bantam age travel hockey player who would potentially be interested in playing collegiate hockey at uah.
