Cherry Blossoms are good. Cherry Blossoms are beautiful. Cherry Blossoms boost morale. They add much needed color to the UAB campus which mostly consists of shades of brown beige and green. Many of the statues and public art pieces are old and rusted. We need vibrancy. We need inspiration. We need life.

Recently the few Cherry Blossom trees on campus were uprooted and scrapped for a soon to be new humanities building. With all this construction there’s no reason we can’t add some color too.
