We are a policy group at Fordham University, who are working on making a policy change that would benefit the human rights of people who are being mistreated by trying to stop Human Sex Trafficking. We as a group are advocating for the S. 1693 Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act of 2017. The goal we are trying to reach is to stop the protection for private blocking to try and limit the amount of trafficking taken place, but to amend the communications act of 1934. The act of 1934 section 230 does not prohibit the enforcement against providers users of interactive computer services of Federal and State criminal and civil law relating to sex trafficking. Please sign the petition to help make a difference to these young people who are being violated of their rights.
