In order to prevent more needless violence being enacted by our police force, who are meant to protect and serve the people of the United States. It should be mandatory that all persons aspiring to join the police force have a mandatory 4 year law degree. This should also apply to all active personnel in the police force.

In the past five years I have seen more police on civilian violence than i can remember. the way i see it there’s been nothing done by Congress, the Senate, or even our local and federal government officials. in order to see the change that i so desperately require in order to feel safe when i see the flashing lights or uniforms of our police force. I truly believe that all law enforcement officers need to have at minimum a 4 year law degree. How am I to expect those who enforce the law not even know what laws they’re enforcing. Time and time again i’ve seen and or heard on the news that another officer has killed so and so, and those dead human beings be innocent. i’ve lost faith in our governing officials to do something that would drastically improve police on civilian violence statistics.

Let’s not put the next generation in the same fearful mindset of generations past.
