Protect The Rights of Freelancers and Vote NO on HR 2474

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

As freelancers, we are fighting for our independence and freedom as unions and the government try to take away our business, livelihood, and lifestyle.

We ask our United States Representatives in the House and the Senate to vote NO to legislation (H.R. 2474) that forces freelancers to become employees and penalizes the businesses hiring us.

We are asking for your help.

Freelancers and virtual business owners (VBOs) have organized in an effort to combat new legislation sweeping the country that restricts our ability to earn an independent living and pursue our passions.

There are currently 57 million freelancers in this country.  Estimates suggest that there will be more freelancers than traditional workers by 2027.

Studies have shown freelancers and virtual business owners (VBOs) are healthier, happier, and make more money than traditional workers.  Over half of freelancers say no amount of money would get them to take a traditional job.

This government movement started with AB5 in California and is decimating freelancers' right to earn a living on their own terms. Labor unions helped craft California’s disastrous AB-5, which is driving similar models for legislation across the country.

For the first time in history, individuals have the ability to create their own future, to follow their passion, and to profit from their efforts.

We are asking you to sign this petition and send a STRONG message to your elected officials in Washington to vote NO on HR 2474 (The PRO Act).

We ask all citizens of the United States to join this petition to KEEP AMERICA’S FREELANCERS INDEPENDENT AND FREE!
