The United States is ranked #1 for Gun Crimes per 100 people. Thousands of innocent people have been killed due to these shootings. China, the most populated country in the world (1.4 billion), has only 2 reported shootings since 2009. Many other countries have gun control laws that have been successful in decreasing mass shootings. So should we.

With our "Silence The Violence" project, we want to raise awareness of mass shooting rates in America compared to other countries and fight for these gun control laws to be passed. We want to honor all the lives lost/injured due to mass shootings, as well as their families. With these laws passed, we can lower rates of gun usage and create stricter laws on who can own guns. We need to hold the NRA officials accountable for disregarding the fact that innocent people are dying due to mass shootings. We need officials who actually care about the safe use of guns rather than people who only worry about how much money they make.
