Keep Public Land Accessible and Pristine

Imagine an America without National Parks, National Forests, or beautiful historical landscapes preserved for future generations to enjoy. Sadly, this could be the case if public lands are sold to individual states. Once the states have control of these beautiful landscapes, they can virtually do whatever they please, including privatizing the land, or auctioning it off to mining, oil, or logging companies to destroy. These actions would not only cut off access to the public, including hunters, anglers, hikers, campers, and nature lovers, but it would destroy habitat for the diverse array of flora and fauna already pressured by human encroachment. We must take action now before these lands are destroyed. America values these lands that have been set aside for public use. These lands need to be preserved if we expect to be able to bask in the glory of nature's beautiful creations in the future. Keep public lands accessible to the public, and preserved for the wildlife who call these lands home. Stop the sale of public lands now before these beautiful landscapes become a distant memory.
