Andrew Harvey started this petition to U.S. Senate and

The unfounded, decades old, allegations that were made by Dr Christine Blasey Ford became a serious threat to our due process and presumption of innocent until proven guilty.  The allegations against Justice Kavanaugh, even though they were found to have been false, damaged his reputation among the American people.  The timing of these allegations being made public is too coincidental to his nomination for SCOTUS.  Senator Diane Feinstein used the allegations as a political move against Justice Kavanaugh.  Using such allegations in this way degrades the true survivors of sexual assault and makes it more difficult for them to come forward for fear of not being believed.

The petition asks the following done, signed by the citizens of America of all races, genders, and age:

1.  We ask that Senator Feinstein and Dr Ford be investigated for the defamation of character of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh.

2.  Any accomplices or financers of the smear campaign against Justice Kavanaugh be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

3.  In prevention of further uncorroborated sexual assault allegations and a waste of taxpayer money, a statute of limitations {no more than 10 years} be put into law.  Any allegations over a decade old, with no eveidence other than "he said, she said" is extremely difficult to prove.  It is a waste of the taxpayers money and the courts time to go on a wild goose chase.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fundamental right of all American citizens and should never be infringed upon.  We have chosen a Government of the people, by the people, for the people, and so shall it protect us from those that wish to divide and conquer us.  God bless America.
