Petitioning U.S. Senate and 4 others

I want non-felon adults to have the freedom to keep and bear arms in California.

In the late days of may, I was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a loaded firearm in public. My car fit the description of a shooting that took place in my hometown of Madera, Ca, and I definitly do not blame the police for conducting the search. They searched me and found my revolver with all six rounds in the cylinder, it was clear that I wasn't the shooter at this point. However they did the gunpowder test and found that I was definitly not the shooter. But then, due to the california gun laws, I was arrested for possession of this weapon. If this petition is able to give non-violent adults the freedom to protect themselves, then we will see a safer society. I believe that everybody has the right to protect themselves, and nothing in my past would suggest that I am not to be trusted. So why should I be restricted from possessing my own firearm for self-defense? Please take the time sign this petition, and grant the citizens of California more freedom and liberty.
