Scott Weithman started this petition to U.S. Senate

It is clear to those signing this petition that standing Senator Ted Cruz has acted in a manner unbecoming of a US Senator. His behavior, stating as fact while withholding or devoid of any tangible evidence, in efforts to stoke insurrection and incite actions leading to violence, trespassing, and desecration of US property, is unacceptable and unquestionably disorderly behavior on the part of any US citizen, let alone a standing member of Congress.

We ask that a motion be brought before the Senate and that members of the Senate put aside unbridled personal ambition in standing united against this behavior. We ask that this motion ask for the immediate removal of Ted Cruz from office for actions stated above.

As stated in Article 1, Section 5 of the US Constitution:

"Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member."
