The United States is built on putting the power in the hands of the people by allowing them to vote for the leaders of their choice. However, the current voting system has low participation rates due to accessibility, ease of use, and mistrust of the system from both sides of the aisle. The U.S. has not had a voting turnout of more than 62% of the voting age population in over 100 years. Every election cycle approximately 100,000,000 people do not vote. We need a new voting system which makes it easy, accessible, and secure for people to have their voices heard.

There are countless man hours and brilliant minds going into blockchain technology which allows quick, easy, and secure transactions and decisions to be executed. In a world where we can get apply for mortgages on our phones, video chat with people across the ocean, or ask our smart devices to change the temperature of our house, it seems like we are overdue to change the way the voting system works. 

Voting is a foundational right for all Americans of age. We believe that applying technology to have secure, accessible, and reliable elections should be a great bi-partisan win. As democrats, republicans, and all other parties, we are bringing our collective voice together to demand that our senators and representatives meet with the brilliant minds in the blockchain space to come up with a solution to bring modern technology to voting.
