Ingerid Olsen started this petition to U.S. Senate

There has been a lot of changes happening lately. Human rights, racial justice, LGBTQ+... The list goes on. The problem however is that instead of focusing on everyone we are focusing on single groups. The end goal is having equal rights for everyone but progress keeps slowing down because people are being excluded and people are protesting about specific groups. We need some sort of law that defines the rights of all human beings. Everyone deserves the right to get married, adopt, get medical care, not get targeted for being of color or of a certain religion. Trying to obtain equality through separate groups will not ensure equality it will only entire the separation of groups. If you are advocating for racial justice than people who are racist will protest against it. However, if you are advocating for justice for all people cannot protest because it will effect them. However, for things like abortion laws it is hard to have that apply to everyone. That is where things like religion equality would play in. By having every religion have the same rights would make it so people cannot use it to attack others whether it is abortion, gay rights or anything like that. People won't protest if that protest will effect them negatively too.

If any one person has to fight for their rights than there is no equality. If you want to take away someone's rights then take those rights from everyone. This is the United States of America and as of right now we are not united.
