Change or Eliminate the Electoral College

I feel that large populations of people are being under represented by the out-dated system of the electoral college. For example, California's population is 38.8 million people and it has 55 electoral votes. Where as Wyoming's population is 584,183 people and has 3 electoral votes. So California has 65x more people than Wyoming, but it only has 18x more electoral votes. The votes of the people of Wyoming carry more weight (they have more of a say) than the people of California or other highly populated states. This system must be revised or eliminated so that every person in the country has a equal say in choosing the President. I am 10 years old and I would like the system changed by the time I am allowed to vote in 8 years.
