Cancel Equifax's $7.25 Million Dollar IRS Identity Verification Contract

In July 2017, over 145 million Americans had their personal information stolen from the credit reporting agency Equifax.
Instead of informing those who were affected, Equifax CEO's sold stocks and remained silent for over 7 weeks.
It was only once the news broke did the company offer any compensation or assistance in the form of free credit monitoring. To add insult to injury the company attempted to place content in the consumer terms that would release the company from any further litigation by the consumer.
In September 2017, Equifax was awarded a $7.25 million dollar contract to provide the IRS with taxpayer and personal identity verification services.
This petition is to make it clear to our lawmakers and government agencies that we are not okay with this contract and that we refuse to allow a company currently under federal investigation for their unethical actions and security inefficiencies to be responsible for our information on file with the IRS.
