Build the Navajo Code Talkers Museum

On Monday, November 27th, the last living members of the WWII Navajo Code Talkers visited the White House to be honored for their exemplary bravery and service in World War Two. It was transformed into a moment that could remain simply a disgrace to all of us, when the Leader of the Free World made a racial slur about Native Americans.
We have an opportunity to do something great in the midst of this: For *decades*, the Navajo people have attempted to build a museum in honor of the 400-500 enlisted Native Americans who risked and gave their lives to defeat the Axis, and who through the incredible use of the Navajo language in battle in the Pacific Theater in World War Two, shortened the war.
Let’s turn this disgrace into a permanent honor to their memory. Let’s petition our government to fund a museum for the Navajo Code Talkers.
