Homework can often be seen as healthy and beneficial for the ever-expanding youthful mind. And sometimes it can be. Up until middle school I felt that the amount of homework and projects I had was fair. However, Middle and High School Students often suffer in unhealthy ways due to the homework they receive.

Depression is heavily blamed by older generations on Social Media and bullying in our youth- both of which can sometimes be vital factors. But aside from that, many children have spoken up about feeling over worked through their school work, homework in particular. This affects children in many ways. This includes loss of sleep hours of which are extremely important in a minor's early stages of development, Anxiety attacks, Stress caused by the pressure being put on their backs, and in many cases depression in teens.

In the long run most information they set aside hours of their lives into learning won't even be beneficial. Having homework, to an extent, be lifted off of these kids' shoulders would allow time for socializing, sleeping, and going outside to have fun. This restriction would not only help kids, but allow them to be happier.
