Save the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has had many positive outcomes on health care in the United States. It has allowed millions of Americans to become insured and have access to medical care when they need it.
It has kept health care facilities honest by basing monetary reimbursement on the outcomes of the patients treated. It has also required that pharmaceutical companies, whose profits reach into the billions (perhaps trillions) pay taxes that fund the expenses created by the bill.
Americans with chronic diseases who have not been allowed access to insurance (or pay larger amounts because of having these illnesses) have seen relief with this act. Also, almost a billion dollars has been directed towards medical research in efforts to cure those diseases.
And many more positive's for the American People. Please keep the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. We people are the ones who will lose if this Act is repealed. Corporations that are not concerned with quality care and pharmaceutical companies are the only ones that stand to benefit.
Thank you for your time.
