Marc Brueggemann started this petition to U.S National Park Services and

There is a secret law that allows Congress to remove Civil War Statues and Memorials from Civil War battlefields. The law is H.R.-7608 where section 442 of the law orders the National Park Service to remove Confederate monuments, statues, and others from Civil War battlefields preserved by the Federal government. The President just signed The Great American Outdoors Act to help in preservation efforts in the National Parks, including Civil War battlefields. The law would target Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Shiloh and other 18 Civil War battlefields. Don't let American history be taken away! Let's preserve it so that future generations don't forget it.
