Voter turnout rates have dropped an astonishing amount in the last 50 years and now barely reaches 60 percent.
I and many others believe that if voting day was to be made a federal holiday it would increase that rate.
In fact, in some places, you have to wait in lines over an hour which is difficult for many people who long hours and have no opportunity to take multiple hours off of work.
please support me in helping increase voter turnout and in turn helping democracy.
