Leaders in the House of Representatives have released a dirty energy budget that would give subsidies to some of the biggest dirty air culprits while cutting important public health protections against deadly air pollution.
If the proposed House dirty energy budget is passed, we can look forward to more subsidies for the dirty air lobby, more premature deaths caused by air pollution, and more carbon pollution that contributes to climate change.
A vast majority of voters believe we should be doing more to address climate change. But this proposed budget prioritizes giving away billions to the dirty air lobby over vital funding to EPA enforcement of life-saving clean air and climate protections.
Tell your Members of Congress to protect people, not the dirty air lobby, and to pass a Clean Budget.
