I am a disabled senior citizen living on a limited and fixed income. My husband and I are blessed to reside with my daughter, son in law and 2 grand children. Consequently, with our blessing, my "kids" claim us as dependents when filing their federal and state income taxes. As a result, we are not eligible to receive stimulus payments and my kids are not eligible to receive stimulus funds for us as their legal dependents because of our ages! I feel that I speak for millions of senior citizens and disabled adults who are in this situation when I state that this is very unfair! We should be counted among the deserving Americans who are eligible to receive stimulus funds. We are Americans who contribute to our economy and to be included as an American who contributes would be a benefit to us and our economy! Won't you consider proposing legislation that would count us as Americans and include us as Americans who are eligible to receive stimulus funds?
