This special day of honor is now lost to a 3-day weekend with no meaning. Restoring it to his actual birthday would help return honor to our founding father.

As a retired teacher of history I feel its vital that our true history not be manipulated or changed do to a whim of what Congress feels is correct. Honoring Washington on his TRUE birthday is the least
our nation can do for one of the greatest stateman our nation ever knew.
