Since taking office, US Representative Ilhan Omar (Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party-MN 5th District) in 2019, has repeatedly shown disdain, disrespect and insolence for the American government, American people and our allies. 

Rep. Omar has made statements that belittled our troops and veterans, claimed to have PTSD, openly mocked POTUS Donald Trump, and openly gave military advice to a foreign power on how to wage war against the United States. These acts are considered treasonous and detrimental to the well-being of the American people and sovereignty of the United States of America. Additional negative acts and statements by this US Representative, since taking office in 2019 are too numerous to list in this petition, but can be easily found via news media, governmental transcripts and other researched resources. 

 It is within the best interest of the American people, and the rights and liberties set forth by our founding fathers, that Rep. Ilhan Omar be removed from office, in order to prevent future damaging acts and statements that are made to create ethnic division, political and cultural chaos and additional ill will, be it intentional or otherwise. 

 We, the People of The United States of America, as evidenced by the signatures contained herein, do implore the United States House of Representative and/or other governing entities to initiate formal proceedings to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from office, thus preserving the integrity and effectiveness of this great nation.
