Increase Voter Turnout in The United States by Voting Online.

The 2016 United States Presidential Election set the mark for the lowest percentage of eligible voters who went to the polls and voted on their Commander In Chief ever. A mere 58% of eligible voters voted out of the 67% of Americans who could vote. Because such a low percentage of voters voted, we can't reflect the true feelings of the country, regardless of which candidate wins. I propose we create a secure place online to vote for our presidents and other representatives. If we create a website for voting, than people would be more inclined to vote from the comfort of their own homes, effectively increasing voter turnout. While some may say that it would be impossible to make the election secure that way, another could say that it's insecure already after the events with Russia and the 2016 DNC. The only way a program like this could be enstated would be if the government of the United States approved it. I feel this would be a great way to get more people in our country to care about elections, and make an impact on the elections.
