Gun Control for the Safety of Kids

In 2018 alone, there has been eight school shootings in the United States. Students should feel as if school is a safe place. We believe this is unfair and also demand that gun laws become rigorous and place a ban assault weapons. Everyone who wants to have a firearm should go through a stern psychological test and background check. The age to own a gun should change from eighteen to either twenty-one or higher. The fear of guns should not have teachers carrying weapons in school in order to protect students. Automatic assault rifles should be restricted to only those who are in the military while in combat. After you leave the military there is no need to have an assault rifle or any weapon that can cause destruction.
