Covid 19 has devastated the lives of citizens in the gig economy. These people are not covered by unemployment insurance, nor do they have sick leave. Many of these businesses have been stopped by Covid 19. In order for these people to self quarantine they need financial support. Ignoring these issues will result in cascading economic hardship, bankruptcy, and evictions.

It is critical to address this critical part of the economy and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
