Last year, the top five oil companies—BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and Shell—collectively made $118 billion in profits. But that’s not all. Big Oil companies also received $4 billion in taxpayer-funded subsidies.
If you agree that American families should not be paying for their gas twice—first at the pump, and then again on tax day -- sign our petition to tell Congress, “No más” to Big Oil handouts.
Over the past decade, the top five oil companies--BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and Shell--have enjoyed more than $1 trillion in profits. Last year alone, these oil giants made $118 billion in profits.
At the same time, Big Oil continues to benefit from more than $4 billion in taxpayer-funded subsidies every year. As a hardworking American, I find it unacceptable that we are giving handouts to some of the most profitable companies in the world.
Enough is enough.
I urge Congress to end Big Oil handouts now.
