In the United States Constitution the Three-Fifths Clause is still present. The ramifications of this clause has a huge impact on the existence of people of color in this Country. New York City Council Member Andy King passed the Three-Fifths Clause Awareness Day Legislation designating March 5th as the day for education. A Resolution was also created calling on Congress to amend the constitution directly addressing the language of the Three-Fifths Clause.
