If you're classified as an "essential worker," you sure as hell deserve a living wage and a union, bare minimum. Cancel rent! We need Universal Healthcare! Worker solidarity now!

As coffee equipment repair person I see the pandemic's impact first hand. The situation in my "industry" is dire- just like the situation of grocery store workers, USPS workers and other fulfillment workers.
If you intend for the economy to have a "softer" landing after this freefall you better shell out money now so, when the recovery period comes there will be something left to recover to!
Money has never been cheaper and it ain't worth the paper it's printed on if it is not in circulation among We, The People!
Not Wall Street, Not the Rich and Not for corporations' stock buybacks!

We depend so much on our baristas and service workers and not enough has been done to protect them.

I am signing because it is important that small businesses like coffeee shops get to make a living and support their community. Coffee shops are part of our local community and are regular contributors to our economy. They have a right to work and make a living and provide sustainance to those who choose to frequent their establishments.

I've spent more than 20 years in the coffee industry. It's a supply chain balancd on the backs of farmers and dedicated brew staff, with every point in between held up by those two arms we take for granted.
