Sofia Solorzano started this petition to U.S. Governors

So many people in the world struggle to be able to pay for medicine, even if they're getting assistance from certain places. In fact, many people would rather try to tough things out than to get the medical assistance needed. Well, in my petition, I would like to give a little more help to those people or families who still struggle to receive medical assistance after getting help from beneficiaries who may still have the client pay more than half the bill.

I believe that what actually needs to happen is that people or families who can only make a certain amount of money should either be given more leisure from having to pay the very expensive prices given by pharmacists, or to assist them with finding either an alternative pharmacy or job. That way, they can either find a more reasonable price for medicine, or they can find a better working job that can help them accumulate enough money to be able to pay. However, this can only happen if the government can help out by funding program(s) that will be entitled to give any of those ways of assisting the person or family the benefits they need.

I care for this petition because I'm actually one of those people who need medicine. Years ago, I was diagnosed with 2 diseases that have made me dependent on medicine to survive. However, my family and I have struggled in the past to buy the medicine, and when we buy the medicine, it makes it harder for us to buy any other necessities. This is why I want to help others with the problem of buying medication, there's a giant struggle for many people or families to provide the other requirements for living. And that's why I want to ensure they can get what they deserve, help.
