This petition’s intent is to support the rights of WWE talent, who are Independent Contractors per the company, to continue their entrepreneurial endeavors and side hustles outside the WWE.

On 10/2/2020, it was announced that WWE would be taking control of all contracted talent’s Twitch accounts in the next 4 weeks.  Expect more third-party platform accounts to be commandeered by the company in the near future.

If Vince McMahon and WWE refuse to provide medical insurance to their talent, they have no right to prevent or control their Independent Contractors from earning money outside the company that is not in direct competition with WWE’s product.

As Independent Contractors, WWE should have NO say, control, or influence in any endeavors that any contracted talent pursues during their own time.
