All members of the University of Illinois family deserve to feel appreciated and welcome for being themselves, so if someone or some company tries to go against this, they need to leave.

Why is thiA company that uses patron’s money to support hate groups of any kind should not be located in a place of learning. These hate groups promote bullying and worse, homosexuality is a natural part of human evolution, to promote hate against one class of humanity causes pain to all of humanity.s important to you?

I believe that civil rights and discrimiation are key issues when it comes to our higher eductional institiution. The school needs to set an example about inclusion and discrimination on their campus. This company not only discriminates, they are very vocal about it.

As an alumni of the U of I i find it to be unsettling that such an openly anti-homosexual organisation such as Chick Fil A has been allowed to exisit within the campus community. This clearly malignant company needs to be shown that, while freedom of speech is a valued right to be utilized and respected, it is not without consequence, in repect to hornets nest of public opinion which it has decided, with little provocation, to stir. I understand that the university has been working to remove Chick fil a, but I would urge you to expediate this process as a way of displaying the university's support for the LGBT community and condamnation of hate, even when it resides inside of a, rather bland, chicken sandwich.
Thank you for your time, Benjamin Carter.

I'm a proud U of I grad (1983). Make me prouder and stop supporting a company whose money is going to take rights away from US citizens.
