Kids need to know about the climate crisis that the world is going through right now, and know to take action. My school has a teacher that is trained in the climate crisis and we've been talking about it a lot. However, other schools have much less discussion around it and the children there may be less aware. It's the duty of schools to educate children, and they need to be educated on what's going on around them. Also, a lot of the eco discussion is based around plastic, and less other issues. Children should be taught about the effects of eating meat, dairy and fish and the advantageous of plant-based diets for the environment. Children now are the people that need to change the world - so let's make sure we can, and we all know what we're talking about. So please, make talking about the climate crisis an essential in schools in the U.K.
