The U.K. government is not accepting refugees from Ukraine in a fashion that reflects the current intense urgency to accommodate those fleeing from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Arrangements have to be put in place that allow individuals to relocate quickly as there is nowhere else for many of these refugees to go. The U.K. has to start acting at the same pace and with the same empathy that other civilised advanced economies are displaying. The current progress on these issues by U.K. government is shameful and many U.K. citizens are aghast at the inhumane attitude and lack of urgency displayed by the U.K. Government.
