On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, discord user maxx#0484 (a.k.a. Tekashi) was demoted from the administrator position in the Valve News Network discord server by none other than the owner of the server itself, the great and powerful Tyler McFinger, amidst claims of racism.

All evidence suggests that this is a corrupt and unfair punishment for crimes he did not commit. Not a single person could testify as witness to these outrageous accusations of prejudice, or even claimed to have any knowledge of these events. In fact, a search for a certain obscene word in the Valve News Network discord server doesn't bring up a single result, meaning that it's impossible that he has ever used that particular racial epithet. Mr. Tekashi has never implied that he had any racial prejudices in any way, shape, or form, and these accusations are completely unfounded.

This decision was made entirely by Cat Pee Man without approval from any form of outside counsil, board, or even the members of his own server. This was an act of dictatorship, and reveals Señor Massive Leaks's intentions to turn his discord server, and by extension his YouTube channel, into a dystopian, apocalyptic hellscape, in which the events of the next Half-Life game may take place, finally giving him something to report on. And he is willingly letting the consequences of his own actions fall into the hardworking backs of the people who work to protect his server every day. Absolutely despicable.

We, the people of Valve News Network, stand in solidarity and proclaim that we will tolerate this no longer. Tekashi was like a father to me. In times of darkness, he showed me the light. When disaster struck, and I thought I had lost all hope, he was there, ready to lend a helping hand to a friend in dire need. And every man, woman, and child that signs this petition feels the same way. Tyler The Epic Gamer, enough is enough. Restore Teskashi's admin permissions, or suffer the wrath of the people.
