Recently, there has been a rise in the hashtag for "megalinks." Essentially, pedophiles are using it to trade and sell child pornography on Twitter. Twitter has taken no action towards this and it almost seems as if they encourage this behavior. They have said "attraction to minors" isn't a reportable offense. Do they not realize how damaging this is to children? Of course, children shouldn't be allowed to have Twitter, but that doesn't give an excuse for there to be a child pornography problem on their site. Tumblr had to be reformed because of child pornography, how come Twitter is getting a free pass? I wrote this petition in hopes that Twitter would incorporate better moderation and crackdown on the problem of child sexualization and exploitation.
