Donald Trump's recent tweets, referring to two MSNBC anchors as "low I.Q. Mika and Psycho Joe," and claiming Mika was "bleeding badly from a face-lift," are abusive behavior according to the Twitter Rules, and should result in a suspension of Trump's account.
Twitter Rules state: "All users must adhere to the policies set forth in the Twitter Rules. Failure to do so may result in the temporary locking and/or permanent suspension of account(s). . . . We do not tolerate behavior that crosses the line into abuse, including behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another user’s voice. . . . You may not incite or engage in the targeted abuse or harassment of others."
As a Twitter user, Donald Trump has failed to adhere to Twitter policies regarding harassment, and the Twitter community must not tolerate his behavior. We call upon Twitter to follow through on its stated policies and consequences and suspend Trump's Twitter account.
While Donald Trump is immune from legal action as long as he holds office, he is not immune from the community standards held by corporations. Twitter must hold all of its members accountable for their actions.
