Twitter gives some of the most trifling, vacuous people, who do absolutely nothing to contribute to the betterment of our world, both on and off the app, a platform to spew their useless drivel. 

It's time that Twitter amplify the voices of people that are on the ground, organizing and doing something for both their local community, and the nation. 

It's time Twitter, give that blue check to Rome. 

Only you, Twitter, can do the right thing.  Only you, Twitter, can redeem yourself. 

Your company ethea proffer that it "puts people first" and that you all "believe in doing good," well it's time to stop with the hollow words; the insincerity.  It's time to give Rome that blue check.  

If the likes of Bobby Steal/Talcum X/Chalka Demus (aka Shaun King), or Diabetes in a Dashiki/Size 4T (aka Roland Martin), and the plethora of other grifters get the elusive Blue Check for only contributing to the delinquency; to the race to the bottom, of our society, then someone as important to the movement for social justice, who fights for the transparency of our political system and counters the above-referenced charlatans, like Rome, should not continue to be denied a blue check. 

It's time.
