On Monday the 9th of August Daniel Augusto owner of "The Little Mix Forum" on twitter took his own life due to abusive trolls targeting him due to his given support towards former Little Mix member Jessica Nelson. 

This shows that Twitter is simply not doing enough. Online bullying has reached an all time high. Individuals some how believe that by hiding behind a computer screen that their words do not affect individuals but that is incorrect. Words are like bullets, they may not hurt you physically but mentally they can shatter people, cause people to inflict harm on themselves. 

Twitter always claims to have ways of dealing with trolls. But where is this? Where is this support? Twitter is a multi-million pound organisation and yet they do little to nothing about toxicity on there platform.

These individuals who caused the death of Daniel Augusto deserve to be held accountable and punished. They caused the death of a 19 year old and that is inexcusable. 

Twitter needs to do more and they need pushing to do that. Please sign this petition to support Daniel.
